Responsible for governance and alignment of the corrective action program for all Entergy Nuclear plants. The incumbent is also responsible for governance and execution of the fleet operating experience program at all Entergy Nuclear plants.
Drive fleet to standardized best practices; eliminate regional and to the extent practicable, site specific procedures.
Determine optimum OE and CA fleet software and coordinating with Information Technology for the optimum operation of these systems.
Drive fleet CA and OE practices to standardization and optimization by achieving consensus among site managers. If consensus cannot be achieved then direct activities as appropriate.
Monitor and review fleet standardization activities. Inform Director, Performance Improvement of progress of fleet activities. Coordinate with the Oversight organization to assess site adherence to fleet practices.
Oversee processes, procedures and documentation which govern and control fleet, plant, and departmental activities in OE and CA.
Represents the fleet at meetings with industry, regulators, INPO, etc. to discuss and resolve matters effecting nuclear plant operating experience and corrective action. Review and evaluate performance of site corrective action program and provide feedback to the site Manager, Performance Improvement.
Minimum education required of the position
B.S. Degree in Engineering or other scientific discipline generally associated with power plant operations or equivalent experience.
Minimum experience required of the position
8 months of experience in nuclear power plant operations. 18 months experience as a successful site manager. Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation. Outstanding communication, conflict management, and change management skills. Possesses the drive and results-focus needed to succeed with a cross-cutting initiative.

SRO license or certification on a PWR or BWR (desired).
