Interfaces with line personnel to analyze performance needs and recommends appropriate training solutions.
Analyzes, Designs, Develops, Implements, and Evaluates training materials and programs using the systematicapproach to training.
Administers and coordinates training programs for sites and corporate groups as assigned.
Minimum education required of the position:
B.S. degree in education, engineering or related technical degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum experience required of the position:
Instructor - Ops - At least 5 years of front line experience and technical proficiency in the area of instruction.
Instructor Senior - Ops - Must meet one of the following: 12 years commercial nuclear plant experience; An SRO license or certification; B.S. Degree in a related field and at least three years of nuclear training experience or at least three years experience teaching or developing curriculum in an education or academic environment.
Instructor Senior - Staff - Ops - Meets qualification and experience requirements as a Senior Instructor, Operations. Has 3 years experience as a control room supervisor or shift manager. At least five years experience in the associated line organization.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:
Technical proficiency in the assigned area. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Any certificates, licenses, etc required for the position:
SRO or certification on BWR, PWR or both.
