JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

This is a rotational position to allow high potential candidates to develop leadership and organizational skills and gain a fleet perspective. This position will be selected with these criteria in mind.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides strategic organizational support to Site leadership.

Develops and tracks site action plans, business plans, and strategic plans as directed by the Site leadership. Coordinates with leadership and Technical Assistants to ensure optimization and standardization of Site management office practices.

Assists Site leadership with workforce planning and labor strategy. Coordinates individual and site recognition functions. Engages in continuous improvement (ECI) to improve fleet practices. Performs field observations of personnel to reinforce standards and expectations and identify gaps in performance.

Works with management to identify and address performance deficiencies. Recommends and implements actions to improve gaps to operational excellence. Schedules and organizes site Management Review Meetings (MRM).

Provides preparation and presentation materials to Site leadership for interface with fleet, industry, and regulatory bodies. Coordinates site leadership and alignment meetings, station update meetings, and leadership off sites. Supports and organizes site preparations for INPO assessments.

Serves as a member of the site outage organization. Serves as a member of the site Emergency Response Organization. Communicates information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum education required of the position

Desired: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Business, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent work experience.

Minimum experience required of the position

Minimum 5 years of Nuclear Power Plant experience. Minimum 2 years management / supervisory experience or college degree.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

Outstanding communications, change management, and conflict management skills. Able to interface effectively with all elements of the organization. Possesses the drive and results-focus needed to succeed with a cross-cutting initiative. Has the persuasive skills needed to engage the workforce and hold their interest. Credible at all levels of the organization. Proficiency with current computer business applications.
