JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

Responsible for facilitating alignment and providing governance over all aspects of the Technical Training programs, including General Employee Training, Plant Access Training, and outage-related training.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists in providing governance over the accredited and non-accredited portions of the technical training programs.

Assists in providing governance over other broad-based fleet training initiatives related to technical training.

Assists in driving standardization of fleet-wide technical training programs to achieve common qualifications, common training materials, and common training program structures.

Oversees the development of training lessons and materials for fleet-wide courses.

Reviews and evaluates performance of site training departments as related to execution of technical training activities.

Interfaces with regulatory and industry representatives on issues related to fleet technical training.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum education required of the position

None

Minimum experience required of the position

8 years experience in nuclear training, maintenance, operations, radiation protection, chemistry or PS&O. 3 years experience in nuclear training.

An understanding of Engineering training is desired

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

In depth understanding of the systematic approach to training, and how it is executed at Entergy Nuclear. Excellent project management skills. Outstanding communication, conflict management, and change management skills.

Exempt employees may not be paid overtime associated with such duties.
