JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

The human resource analyst position is responsible for performing human resource administrative work and providing analysis and support of various human resource programs and initiatives.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain the detailed Project Plans for HR Related activities

  • Prepare weekly status reports for approval by HRBPs

  • Collect and analyze data; report on relevant metrics

  • Maintain people data related to HR activities and provide the data as agreed or upon

  • Request to stakeholders in need of such data

  • Conducts studies, performs research and prepares reports

  • Recognizes data inconsistencies and irregularities and reports issues to management

  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, rules and regulations

  • Performs quality control analysis on assignments to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Support project related activities as needed

  • Participate in working groups, project teams, and other teams as needed to ensure success of HR

  • Provides administrative and other ad hoc support as needed and requested by management

  • Builds presentations, PowerPoints, and tools associated with various HR activities, needs, and milestones

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field required or equivalent work experience.

Minimum experience required of the position

Analyst Sr: 6+ years of professional experience.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

  • Business acumen – able to understand how a business operates and makes money and to proactively anticipate and manage trends that could impact operations or financials

  • Communication skills – able to identify information that should be shared between people within the company; able to convey information to others effectively and efficiently

  • Consultation- ability to seek and given advice on HR matters

  • Analytical skills – able to break an activity down into its component parts

  • Proficient analytical skills – able to break an activity or data set down into its component parts

  • Critical evaluation – able to use data available to assess whether and to what extent you agree with a statement or finding

  • Proficient in knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Relationship Management – able to create and maintain partnerships with internal stakeholders that advance the collaborative work environment needed to achieve results

  • Ethical decision making – able to make sound judgements rooted in ethical values

Any certificates, licenses, etc., required for the position

PHR or SHRM-CP Preferred
