This position will support Fleet Management in all aspects of analytical support as it relates to telemetry, budgets, acquisitions, disposals, maintenance and various fleet services. The Analyst position will support a Fleet of 6500 assets; while being the subject matter expert for telemetry and related equipment.
Utilizing vehicle and equipment telemetry
design processes and reports to monitor fleet performance related to fuel burn; operator safety and engine; transmission and aerial equipment performance.
new and focused efforts on vehicle utilization including vehicle and mounted equipment activity.
support the Management Review Meeting’s Safe Driver Scores and Speeding Greater than 10 MPH over the Posted Speed limit metrics including developing trends, providing data consistency, and oversite of repair/replacement of faulty devices.
support accident inquiries from Entergy Legal including retrieval and analysis of telemetry data.
develop and convert complex reports to PowerBI
Assist in identifying new technology to improve safety; spend and equipment oversight.
Serve as telemetry subject matter expert for Safe Driving Task Force; Fleet and Safety organizations.
Analysis and develop reports identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve fleet operations.
Builds/Run reports with SQL, access and excel
Become the expert in Fleet Data in all appropriate applications.
Prepares and delivers presentations on costs and uses financial calculations when necessary (Time value of money)
Provide necessary data to Benchmark Entergy’s Fleet against the other utilities
Prepares financial performance and trending reports for key customers
Assist in long-term planning / strategic planning for Entergy’s Fleet
Builds and maintains cost models for vehicle cost trends
Develop business cases and analysis for capital expenditures
Uses analysis to identify opportunities to improve processes while maximizing efficiency. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum education required of the positionBachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field required or equivalent work experience. Desired Master's Degree. Minimum experience required of the position .Analyst II: 2-4 years of professional experience.Analyst III: 4-6 years of professional experienceAnalyst SR: At least 6 years of professional experience. Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the positionNone WORKING CONDITIONS Office environment with minimal physical requirements.
