JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Dir, Technical Capital Projects the Sr Mgr, Program Management will serve as a key member to the Technical Capital Projects leadership team. This role will provide executive leadership that works with the business functions and key stakeholders across the enterprise to deliver transformational technology programs that enable and support the company’s current and future business objectives. The senior manager will ensure that a portfolio of transformation initiatives executes to milestones, budget, and deliverables. S/he will conduct business analyses and lead executive reporting as well as drive overall program governance. This will entail directing a matrixed team responsible for demand planning, portfolio management, performance management and program governance. With a continuous improvement mindset, the senior manager will focus on continuing to optimize the processes and standards of the enterprise transformation office. The objective of this role is to ensure and maintain high standards of project delivery and the achievement of program objectives and outcomes and ensure that the transition from program deployment to steady state operations is managed successfully.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ownership of delivering business case outcomes and to keep programs on schedule and on budget
Build and manage a dynamic cross-functional team including internal business process owners, program operations, program compliance, internal technical IT staff, external software and system integration specialists, Regulatory, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and Corporate Audit & Controls based on the targeted and approved technology programs.
Effectively communicate complex ideas/concepts to business leaders at all levels and functions to drive business outcomes and value delivery
Understand the change impacts and develop the business change strategy and define support required
Ensure implementation process and solutions meet and deliver the business requirements and value case with Customer Centricity as the driving principle
Develop all the best-in-class procedures and training materials for effective rollout, training and adoption.
Lead the senior stakeholder engagement and steering committees for assigned programs/projects
Manage and maintain accountability for report-out on project status, issues, risks, etc. to all stakeholders including key executives at defined cadence
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education required of the position
BS/BA degree in Management Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science or other technical area of study preferred OR equivalent work experience. MBA is a plus
Minimum education and experience required of the position
10+ years of experience with program management of medium and/or large, complex technology and IT initiatives
Experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of medium and/or large-scale, multi-million-dollar IT/transformation programs
Experience in vendor relationship and contract management
Familiarity with business operations, financial planning, regulatory, and best in class technology landscape
Specific and direct experience with SAP, Oracle, Maximo will be given first consideration
Experience with time and labor programs and customer billing technology
Experience in stakeholder and crisis management
Experience in/or exposure to P&L responsibilities and business case development through to approval
