JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

This role will be responsible for providing vendor management related support to the Grid Modernization program strategic partners. This person will oversee and support key partner relationships and assure the attainment of financial and operational targets, and delivery of contractual obligations. This role will be responsible for providing guidance and implementing governance processes for managing our key partners. This person will be responsible for the day to day tracking, monitoring and reporting of partner related metrics and contract performance measures for key strategic partners and will help to establish and develop internal policies, standards, templates for working with partners and ensure strong performance management.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Works with project teams and partners to gather, track and report on relevant metrics for Grid Modernization program.

Identifies and proactively implements process improvement opportunities to drive continuous improvement in the process of outsourced management and outsourced management trends.

Works with Supply Chain to support key outsourced partner relationships and contracts, including evaluating penalties, incentives, change requests, while working with key stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are met.

Conducts and participates in regular business reviews with our partners, including preparation and validation of contract performance penalties and rewards and relevant partner and project metrics.

Works with project managers, schedulers, project control managers, and cost analysts to provide, track and monitor partner/project financials.

Works with internal and external stakeholders to resolve problems, mitigating delays, mediating disputes and escalating issues.

Maintains awareness of project schedules and commitments based on obiligations (e.g. deliverables, milestones) to provide support to meet project schedules.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business related field required or equivalent work experience, Master's Degree is a preferred.

Minimum experience required of the position

At least 10 years of professional experience.

Preferred: Vendor management experience and skilled in best practices for contract management preferred. Experience in data and financial analysis is preferred. Utility industry experience a plus. Demonstrated negotiating skills desired.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred: Strong planning and organizational skills as well as attention to detail. Proven ability to achieve numerous goals in a timely manner, exercising good judgment and sound decision-making skills. Proven ability to work in a very dynamic, fast-paced entrepreneurial organization with minimum supervision.Experience with Power BI.

Any certificates, licenses, etc., required for the position

Desired - PMP or CPA
