Job Summary
Continuous Improvement (CI) is a key priority in Entergy’s journey to be the Premier Utility. In 2020, a centralized CI function was established, responsible for increasing adoption of continuous improvement practices at Entergy to maximize sustainable value for our stakeholders. CI’s three strategic imperatives are to create sustainable value for our stakeholders, to evolve the workforce to a CI mindset so every employee takes ownership of improvement opportunities and to enable the workforce to execute on those opportunities through education, tools and tech, and ongoing coaching and support.
The Manager, CI Strategy reports to the Director, Continuous Improvement Transformation, who leads the Office of Strategy Management (OSM). This position’s primary objectives are to manage and advance the strategy arm of the OSM, which is the function that oversees the enterprise-wide CI strategy activities – from strategy formulation to execution, and to build and maintain relationships with CI counterparts to understand the internal customer needs and how to support the organization in advancing CI. The manager will evolve, refine and manage the CI strategy that directly supports the goal of becoming the Premier Utility. The manager will own and manage the CI center of expertise (COE), which includes the methodology and toolkit that supports the identification, planning and execution of targeted improvement initiatives within Entergy with the overall goal of eliminating waste while improving predictability.
The manager must be comfortable working across a multi-site, multi-disciplinary structure.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Deliver on the creation and development of the CI enterprise strategy
Drive the development and ongoing monitoring and enhancement of the CI enterprise strategy and related work and deliverables
Establish and operate a benchmarking process to continue to evolve our CI practice, to provide strategic insights across the enterprise and to support potential CI opportunities in the business
Drive the continued advancement of the CI COE
Build partnerships and continuously engage CI counterparts to ensure a seamless delivery of CI services to the enterprise
Manage a team of professionals supporting the OSM

Minimum Requirements
Minimum education and experience required of the position
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field and minimum 10+ years of related professional experience is required OR in lieu of degree minimum 14+ years of professional related experience is required.
Experience in developing strategies is required. 3+ years of strategy consulting or strategic planning experience is preferred.

Continuously looks for ways to improve performance and enhance skills through development
Desired knowledge, skills and abilities
Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt or higher certification
People management and people development experience
Ability to manage and influence stakeholder relationships to achieve desired outcomes
