The Talent Advisor will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting to ensure Entergy is able to attract and acquire a highly qualified diverse pool of talent representative of the communities we serve. The Talent Advisor will develop collaborative relationships and partner directly with business leaders, Human Resource Business Partners, Hiring Managers, and the Diversity and Workforce Strategy team to provide recruiting & sourcing expertise, market related intelligence and counsel on a variety of recruiting issues to drive effectiveness and efficiency in the talent acquisition process. The Talent Advisor will provide guidance to recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators. The Talent Advisor will develop recruiting and sourcing strategies and partner directly with the business to develop strategic staffing plans that meet current and future business needs. The Talent Advisor drives energy, passion, customer centricity, continuous improvement, and delivers excellence at every level to enable Entergy to be the Premier Utility.
Responsible for recruiting & sourcing activities to ensure a highly qualified diverse pool of talent is available to fill Entergy’s openings.
Develop collaborative relationships with business leaders, HR Business Partners and hiring managers to provide recruiting & sourcing expertise, market related intelligence and counsel on a variety of recruiting issues to improve talent acquisition efficiency and effectiveness.
Effectively partner with hiring manager & HR Business Partners to develop a deep understanding of assigned business groups.
Develop and maintain strategic staffing plan for designated business by partnering with business leadership and HR Business Partners.
Develop a strategic sourcing strategy tailored to the specific needs of the business to ensure a sustainable pipeline of highly qualified diverse talent.
Lead and facilitate regular review of hiring activity and prioritization of positions with business leadership and HR Business Partners
Maintain relationships with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Diversity and Inclusion Councils and create opportunities to grow the pipeline of talent and expand outreach efforts.
Develop and maintain relationships with key business leaders across assigned businesses to ensure talent pipelines meets business needs.
Identify required skills & experience by conducting requisition intakes on all positions.
Source, screen & present a highly qualified diverse slate of candidates to hiring managers.
Collaborate on projects / reports related to ongoing strategic initiatives for Talent Acquisition and other departments as required.
Provide guidance to recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators as appropriate to ensure customer centricity and meet the strategic staffing needs of the business.
Provide hiring managers with advice, training and tools to create an inclusive and effective hiring process and ensure a high-quality candidate and new hire experience.
Provides creativity, resourcefulness, initiative and persistence in sourcing for hard to fill or unique positions.
Use various cost-effective sourcing strategies, such as online job boards, networking, resume mining, social networking and attending recruiting events to attract a diverse pipeline of candidates.
Deliver prompt follow up & feedback to candidates in the interview process.
Provide realistic and thorough job overviews, highlighting the benefits for a career at Entergy.
Conduct thorough phone screens to find the right match for the candidate & Entergy while producing a best in class candidate experience.
Foster a positive, professional interviewing experience for candidates.
Manage requisitions through ATS to ensure that hiring activity is documented according to OFCCP & AAP requirements.
Manage offer development, review, approval and extension of offers including detailed salary recommendations as well as managing offer negotiations as necessary.
Maintains requisition file in SuccessFactors including interview notes.
Updating candidate records and job postings in SuccessFactors.
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition leadership to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure that all Talent Acquisition standard operating procedures, processes, and compliance control requirements are accurately and consistently executed.
Provide training and guidance to Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners on Talent Acquisition standard operating procedures, processes, and compliance control requirements.

Staffing Rep II: Bachelor’s Degree (Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field) and minimum 4+ years of HR related experience; OR in lieu of degree, minimum 8+ years of relevant HR related experience
Staffing Rep Sr: Bachelor’s Degree (Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field) and minimum 6+ years of HR related experience; OR in lieu of degree, minimum 10+ years of relevant HR related experience
Knowledge and Skills
Detailed knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to talent sourcing, assessing, applicant tracking, closing offer processes and relationship management.
Ability to launch and sustain talent pipeline programs through capturing key sourcing intelligence, effectively converting passive candidates and utilizing diverse sourcing channels.
Ability to understand & interpret data, analyze trends and identify actionable insights.
Ability to influence and negotiate with business leaders.
Experience using an enterprise level applicant tracking system
Strong communication skills both written & verbal.
Effective at resolving problems by providing creative solutions.
Ability to handle & maintain confidential information.
Skilled at negotiation and delivering successful outcomes for all sides.
Expert in balancing multiple priorities, stakeholders and work streams simultaneously.
