Entergy Manager, Configuration & Document Management in New Orleans, Louisiana

Provides leadership, direction and oversight for all Configuration and Document Management activities, including all drafting/document management services for capital projects, engineering drafting support, as-built drafting needs, station oneline and system map modifications, contractor management, configuration management controls, facility ratings workbook updates, asset database updates, and metrics reporting.
Accountable for monitoring and controlling project costs, project schedules and required deliverables of Drafting/Document Management to meet project goals and critical milestones to accomplish required levels of customer satisfaction
Accountable for maintaining CAD and CAD management applications
Responsible for ensuring compliance to applicable configuration management and document management procedures and processes
Responsible for the execution of the configuration management procedure, including facility rating workbook processes, controls, and communication, updating asset databases (SWMS, LWMS), and training.
Responsible for metric reporting associated with Asset Changes, Facility workbook changes, as-builts, and performance metrics
Accountable for effective resource management, including workload distribution, resource productivity, contractor management and employee development
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the utility industry with experience in various engineering disciplines.
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of document management, AutoCAD, drafting standards, and configuration management procedures.
Thorough understanding of planning, project management, operations and/or construction.
Experience in managing/executing capital and/or O&M projects.
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multi-projects simultaneously.
Capable of moving frequently between multiple tasks, while prioritizing conflicting priorities.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with superiors, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the Company.
Sound analytical, problem solving and documentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills; team player.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), budgets, financial procedures, performance metrics, and property accounting.
