Provide insight into and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and certain aspects of corporate governance and risk management; manage day-to-day operations of Internal Audit Services. Reduce the risk profile of the company by effectively assessing the risk environment and developing an annual audit plan. Monitor emerging risks and respond to unexpected issues as they arise. Identify and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of corporate governance, risk management and internal controls. Assess internal controls over financial reporting and other financial aspects of the business. Maintain an effective SOX 404 control program and provide assurances to management regarding the effectiveness of the control environment. Facilitate proactive improvements in business systems and processes with internal customers by participating on implementation teams and continuous process improvement teams. Develop, coach and mentor diverse audit teams. Utilize department resources effectively and efficiently to create value for the business.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or related field or the equivalent work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years audit or fraud detection experience, 5 years of managerial experience
Will review candidates with 5 + years’ experience in Audit
Requires experience with IIA audit standards and best practices, implementation and support of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 control program, ERM and risk assessment, COSO framework, CoBit or other leading control frameworks.
Minimum Requirements-Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
Strong business acumen
Solid decision making and critical thinking skills
Ability to work under pressure, shift priorities as necessary and deliver results
Requires designation as CPA, CIA, CISA or CFE; multiple designations desirable
