Responsible for the ordering, testing, and handling of Gas material and equipment for Gas Operations.
Perform Lot Acceptance and Return To Utility meter in-tests per company guidelines.
Interfaces with customer departments including, Gas Service, Gas Field Operations, AMI, and Gas Replacement Infrastructure Program (GRIP)
Palletize meter cores for investment recovery.
Badge new meter/regulator for installation.
Make minor repairs and adjustments to meter/regulator equipment.
Maintain inventory at Meter Depot
Maintain material for GRIP contractors
Ordering, receiving, and stocking Gas material
Research material issues and coordinate resolution of problems;
Perform Return Material Authorization (RMA) for damage/defective materials
Ensure storeroom activities are conducted in a manner to maintain inventory levels. Ensure removal of stock (ROS) process is executed.
Monitor and track daily inventory levels.
Determine the appropriate min/max levels for each inventory items.
Process material receipts/transfers within 24 hours.
Utilize the 5 keys to Smith Driving while making deliveries or pickups.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks, motorized sweeper;
Receive shipments, unload material and check for damage, inspect packing list and accurately count material for receiving, complete material put away;
Perform general housekeeping duties;
Print and apply appropriate labels;
Understand written and oral instructions
Adhere to record retention requirements
Maintain Fire meter/evidence room and log.
Document all activities to ensure SOX compliance, paperwork is adequate for future process improvement, and strengthen litigation/legislative/regulatory cases. Support activities to increase revenue/cost recoveries and reduce service diversion. Participate in continuous surveillance program to find and fix conflicts before they escalate.

Ability to meet the public in a pleasant and tactful manner and understand the importance of delivering a high level of customer service.
Desired: Knowledgeable in MS Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook); Knowledge of Entergy's Customer Service policies; Familiar with service territory area.
Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
