This position will be filled as an Analyst I, II, or III depending on experience.
Help identify opportunities for process improvement and lead process improvement teams to help close performance gaps. Utilize process improvement methodologies (e.g. LEAN and related skills) to drive more efficient process re-design, help develop performance management metrics, and apply appropriate change management tools. Coordinate the implementation of process improvement efforts in a matrixed environment. Communicate and present updates on process improvement efforts to senior management on a regular basis.
Job Duties/Responsibilities :
Based on a detailed understanding of the performance of processes, services, and customer feedback, identify opportunities to charter process improvement teams.
Develop business cases for process improvement opportunities and present and propose to senior management for approval.
Utilize LEAN and related skills to facilitate end-to-end process mapping sessions and drive teams to re-design processes to be more efficient, including the application of technology for further automation. Align to one or more end-to-end processes to support end-to-end process owner(s).
Apply appropriate change management tools to support change management program and communications. Support program execution in all phases of the transformation process and develop or provide input into internal communications.
Provide regular status updates to senior management regarding the status of performance improvement efforts and escalate project issues to management as necessary.
Help Entergy Shared Services continuously improve its process improvement approach, methodology, tools, and techniques based on learnings from process improvement efforts.
Develop communications materials and provide presentations to management and staff regarding process improvement efforts (for individual performance improvement efforts and for the program overall)
Minimum education required of the position:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum experience required of the position:
Analyst I: 0-2 years of experience with project management, governance model development, strategic thinking, relationship management, situational assessment and reporting, shared services or corporate center experience
Analyst II: 2-4 years of experience with project management, governance model development, strategic thinking, relationship management, situational assessment and reporting, shared services or corporate center experience
Analyst III: 4-6 years of experience with project management, governance model development, strategic thinking, relationship management, situational assessment and reporting, shared services or corporate center experience
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:
Substantial change management experience. Experience with process optimization. Experience with performance management, developing and tracking KPIs. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization. Understanding of the industry and industry best practices. Strong collaboration and relationship management knowledge, skills and abilities. Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and creative problem solving skills. Expertise with outsourcing, contract negotiation process, and contract management. Familiarity with technology/IT systems.
