Responsible for the scheduling, cost control, reporting, risk and change management, and other project support functions and activities, as instructed by management. Creation, maintenance, updating and analysis of project schedules and reports/dashboards, progress measurement, forecasted man-hours at completion, change management tools, risk registers, project contingency assessments, and issuing reports to the Project Team, Project Manager, and management as required.


Promotes safe behavior and adherence to the safety rules on the project. Leads the project team to establish leading indicators and proactive requirements while ensuring safety is considered in all aspects of project execution.

Setting up the control systems for the project to record, maintain and report original and current schedules, pending/approved/rejected change orders and budget transfers, actual spend, estimate-to-complete, estimate-at-completion, and their variances against control budgets, and work progress and productivity values.

Gathering, consolidating, producing, and incorporating into reports, all required cost, schedule, management of change, progress and performance data and charts, and ensuring they are current and accurate, including revising the schedule to reflect actual progress, and issue reports as required and on-time.

Analyzing anticipated, as well as current, situations to proactively focus management's attention on known or potential areas of concern. Additional duties include tracking and incorporating out of scope work activities, development and maintenance of project risk registers and contingency management.

Provides clear, timely and accurate project status reports for management. Prepares reports and presentations to management. Prepares and issues status reports as needed. Identifies, makes timely decisions and takes prompt action on project issues that could impact project performance. Promptly communicates issues to the next level of leadership that are outside the authority or capability to resolve.

Coordinates with all functional departments as required to successfully execute the requirements of the applicable corporate standards and process, to achieve project timeline,. Monitors contractor performance in the area of project safety, schedule, cost, quality of work and compliance with contractual requirements. Delivers projects with cost and schedule certainty; manages and controls schedules; manages risk by identifying and mitigating risks.


Minimum education required of the position

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent work experience.

Degrees in Electrical Engineering preferred

Minimum experience required of the position

0-5 years experience in Distribution, Substation or Transmission required.

Project Scheduling and Management, Risk Management experience desired

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

History of safe performance, active safety involvement and participation and strong desire for a safer workplace. Solid background in planning and scheduling, cost control, estimating, and management of change. Solid background and working knowledge of Primavera P6 with experience and ability to effectively and efficiently use it.

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position
