JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Sr. Project Manager Transmission Project Development serves as the point of contact for external and internal entities seeking (i) transmission service and expansion of the transmission system for load additions, (ii) coordination of maintenance activities, and (iii) generator interconnections with Entergy's Transmission System. Sr. Project Manager provides technical assistance and engineering support to customers, including the development and presentation of options for transmission solutions. Sr. Project Manager also reviews, prepares and administers contracts to ensure the needs of the Transmission organization are satisfied and facilitates customer funding agreements when appropriate.

Sr. Project Manager is also responsible for the Developing Transmissions Portfolio of projects through Stage Gate 2

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Assure that customers' transmission service/interconnection requests are addressed in a timely manner. Develop and present transmission solution options to customers. Provide support to other Entergy work groups to meet the business needs of the transmission customers and Entergy Transmission organization.

Manage work processes, schedules, and resources to meet objectives. Ensure processes, criteria, guidelines, and related documents conform to industry standards, regulations and applicable tariffs.

Provide support in regulatory proceedings on matters related to transmission service/interconnections.

Provide contract support to ensure recovery of transmission projects.

Provide support to various workgroups including Operations, Economic Development, Distribution Planning, System Planning Organization, Regulatory Support, Jurisdictional organizations, etc.

Represent the Transmission organization in customer meetings. Review contract terms to ensure the needs of the Transmission organization are met.

Become well versed in company policies, MISO rules and procedures, and FERC rules regarding interconnections/transmission service requests on the transmission system

Provide initial estimates and scopes on transmission project necessary to support the Transmission Capital Planning Process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering or equivalent work experience.

Minimum experience required of the position

7 years

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

Requires a solid understanding of the organization's business operations and industry; Possesses strong analytical skills

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position

Desired: PMP Certification.
