Job Summary/Purpose:

This position will beintegral partner in coordinating recruiting activities and building candidate relationships with Entergy's Executive Recruiting Department; often providing candidates with their first impression of Entergy. This position will need to be an organizational guru, working effectively with internal & external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice, and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provides assistance in scheduling interviews & phone screens working directly with candidates and hiring managers, in some cases arranging travel for visiting candidate

  • Assists and/or conducts first phase interviews to filter candidates

  • Providing follow-up correspondences to candidates on recruiting status via phone, email & text

  • Initiates relocation if applicable

  • Verifies all data elements for the new hire to ensure employee records are complete and accurate

  • Conducts detailed in-take sessions with hiring manager to determine workstation needs, building access, application access and phone needs of the new hire

  • Conducts welcome phone call and guides new hire through pre-employment and 1st day steps

  • Coordinates, prepares, and sends welcome letter to the new hire including key details for day 1 – time to report, where to go, suggestions for parking, dress code, who will meet them, etc.

  • Open/resolve HRES tickets (Ex. vacation adjustments, rehire vacation, position table issues, adjusted start dates, adjusted compensation, etc.)

  • Maintains requisition file in SuccessFactors

  • Prepares & sends Pre-Adverse and Adverse letters

  • Perform E-Verify process on new hires and rehires to ensure employment eligibility

  • Assists and monitors the export control license process for foreign nationals

  • Updating candidate records and job postings in SuccessFactors

  • Drafts and sends offer letters to new hires

  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned

Minimum education required of the position:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field or equivalent work experience.

Minimum experience required of the position:

0-3 years of relevant HR, Customer Service, or similar experience

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment

Superb customer focus

Ability to utilize cloud-based applications

Attention to detail and organization skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Company Testing

Successful completion of the EEI SASS Test may be requested during contract. *If already SASS recommended, please list it on your resume.*
