JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Support regulatory filing teams in providing high quality service and work product while meeting regulatory and jurisdictional filing requirements and deadlines. Directly responsible for the overall quality of service, work paper, analytical and review standards and compliance with Commission filing requirements for the team's jurisdiction(s). Supports the Manager, Regulatory Filings to ensure Operating Companies' and Corporate needs and objectives are met to support regulatory filings and analysis as requested.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of regulatory data for filing, including pro forma adjustments to historical per book information; cost of service allocation and revenue requirements development and analysis needed for filing(s); and present and pro forma revenue analysis and rate design needed for reasonable recovery of the cost to serve in a manner that is equitable to our customers while recognizing corporate financial stability.

Ensure that key issues/decisions are escalated to Operating Company management and others in a timely manner.

Participate in training and staff development, ensuring cross-training opportunities are realized in the overall knowledge and understanding of regulatory filings (rate cases, formula rate plans, etc.) and underlying processes.

Ensure that all work papers and filing documents are accurately prepared and adequately reviewed in a complete and timely manner.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

MBA or CPA preferred.

Minimum experience required of the position

0 years for Analyst I

1-3 years for Analyst II or III

3-5 years for Analyst Sr

3 years' experience in electric utility industry preferred.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

Knowledge and experience in the Regulatory filing arena. Understanding and knowledge of utility/FERC accounting, tax, revenue requirements and Rate Design. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to build effective teams. Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening) and ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Ability to deliver effective feedback. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
