Conducts training programs for licensed operators and shift technical advisors in reactor operations covering replacement,

requalification, upgrade, etc., consistent with NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) requirements. Develops and maintains

operations training programs.


  • Administers training programs to ensure the availability of qualified and licensed personnel.

  • Interfaces with line personnel to analyze performance needs and recommend appropriate training solutions.

  • Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates training materials and programs using the systematic approach to

  • training.

  • Administers and coordinates training programs for sites and corporate groups as assigned.


Minimum education required of the position

5 years nuclear plant experience (commercial or military) or a B.S. degree in education, engineering or related technical degree or

equivalent experience.

Minimum experience required of the position

At least five years experience in the associated line organization.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

Technical proficiency in the assigned area. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel,

and PowerPoint.

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position

Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) or certification on BWR, PWR or both
