JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

Works with line personnel to understand and analyze performance needs and recommend appropriate training solutions.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates training materials and programs using a systematic approach to training.

  • Administers and coordinates training programs for sites and corporate groups as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum education required for the position:

  • None

  • Desired : B.S. Degree in Education, Engineering, or related technical degree or equivalent work experience.

Minimum experience required for the position:

Minimum experience required of the position:

  • 3-5 years nuclear plant experience (commercial or military) or a B.S. in Education.

  • Desired: 5 years of nuclear power plant operations (commercial or military)

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position:

  • Technical proficiency in the assigned area.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

ANSI Required: No

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position:

  • Desired: SRO license or certification on BWR, PWR, or both.

  • Note: Licensed Operations instructors require an SRO license or certification.
