JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Supports regulatory activities and strategic initiatives.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform ad hoc analysis, summary analysis, trend analysis, and statistical analysis and communicate results as needed

  • Develops presentations and other written materials

  • Interfaces with key stakeholders, including various internal and external groups

  • Perform detailed review of invoices to ensure the vendor support is in accordance with related contracts and Entergy requirements, confirms that milestones invoice have been achieved based on project team observation and allocates invoiced amounts to the appropriate code block. Inputs invoice in Asset Suite after work has been verifies. Routes to Contract Manager for approval.

  • Assists Project Teams in preparation and submission of monthly accounting accruals for construction work. Monitors and Maintains CWIP Report. (open Construction Work in progress).

  • Setup Distribution Storm Project Codes and route for approval prior to an event

  • Perform role as liaison between the BU and representative from internal Audits for SOX (Sarbanes Oxley and ERM (Enterprise Risk Management)

  • Custodian for ETI T&D storm credit card custodian

  • Responsible for weekly reporting and distribution to ETI leadership

  • Performs oversight of annual NERC projects

  • Oversees the Pole Grounding Program

  • Responsible for the Circuit Line Mile Out of Service Report

  • Works with ETI management on TX DCRF rate filings and base rate increase filings.

  • Serve as ETI’s Accrual Coordinator by conducting a monthly review to gather ETI Operations accrual dollars and code block for charges $50k or more.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

BS/BA in a technical field such as Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent work experience.

Minimum experience required of the position

Analyst I: 0-2 years professional experience.

Analyst II: 2-4 years professional experience.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

Desired:

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Ability to analyze problems and create solutions

  • Initiative to work independently and adept at working on team assignments with other personnel, departments, and organizations.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in all Microsoft toolkit applications.

  • Capacity to adapt to changing work priorities.

  • Ability to prioritize work on multiple simultaneous projects.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead and drive projects through to completion. Desired knowledge of CPTrac, Asset Suite, Power Plant
