BRIEF POSITION DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cyber Security Metrics & Reporting

Architect, plan, build and run IT cyber security, risk, and compliance metrics, analytics, and reporting

  • Partner with IT Security leaders and IT reporting, visualization & analytics teams.

  • Apply risk event data, KDEs, KCIs, KPIs, and KRIs, and model risk & control relationships.

  • Deliver high quality reporting products for Technical Leaders, Management, Executives, and the Board.

  • Communicate clearly in technical and business terms with powerful messaging, via compelling products.

  • Author whitepapers, case studies, and digital media.

Business Analytics & Intelligence

Deliver innovative business intelligence and reporting products and services.

  • Gather requirements, formulate metrics, and synthesize analytics.

  • Work with complex data sets, integrating structured and unstructured data.

  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into data warehouses. Ensure data life cycle governance, lineage, and quality.

  • Create, develop and publish reports and dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).

Additional

  • Drive multiple complex projects, achieve key milestones, with ability to repriortize work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Support governance committees, working groups and forums.

  • Support issue management, risk acceptances, and the IT Security - Corrective Action Program.

  • Sustain effective engagement with Business Partners, Auditors, and Regulators.

  • Advanceourpeople, process, and technology agenda to foster individual, team, and Entergy success.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

5 to 7+ years directly relevant to the position.

EXPERTISE REQUIRED

Experience, capabilities, and expertise directly relevant to the position.

  • Required: leadership and delivery of IT cyber security, risk, and compliance metrics, analytics and reporting.

  • IT cyber security, risk, controls, audi, and compliance pratices; e.g. COBIT, NIST-CSF

  • Business analysis, business intelligence, data science, analytics, visualization, and reporting.

  • Power BI, Tableau, SAS, QuickSight, Qlikview, Crystal Reports, SQL (SSRS,SSIS, Mobile Report Publisher).

  • Programming: e.g. Java, MS SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Python, Ruby, MATLAB, MS Access.

  • Advanced level communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.

  • Travel: 10%.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.

ANY CERTIFICATES, LICENSES ETC., REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION

Must demonstrate commitment to professional development. Preferred relevant qualifications: CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.
